'Tyrannosaurus-Pecks' explores the dreamlike and sometimes nightmarish!) nature of childhood imagination. In this piece we use the vibrant colours, playful compositions and surreal scenarios typical of our work to evoke nostalgia and reflect the playful way children perceive the world.

A classic childhood fantasy we shared was the idea of keeping a dinosaur as a pet, inspired by this we played around with scale and created a flock of chicken-sized dinosaurs being calmly fed by a little girl... blending a seemingly sweet and innocent everyday scene with an underlying sense of absurdity and possible danger!"
